Meet Our Stallholders - Granny's Sewing Box

Here at Yorkshire Does Vintage we thought it might be nice to introduce some of our lovely stallholders so people can see what a range of stalls we have on offer at our events.

The first of our stallholders in this feature is the very talented Granny's Sewing Box.  This family run business makes some beautiful things out of vintage fabric from the 50s to the 80s.  They also have a selection of products that raise money for S.N.A.P.P.Y, where a minimum 25% of the sale goes towards the charity.

I really love these hair grips made out of vintage fabric, finished off with button centres.

They also make these quirky slides and kirby grips out of buttons.  I've got my eye on a couple of these myself!

At the moment they're preparing for the Princess Summer Ball, in aid of S.N.A.P.P.Y. to be held at York Racecourse on 18th August.  They have a range of items fit for any pretty princesses.

Finally, I know if might be a bit too early to mention Christmas, but these knitted advent calendars are amazing!

How cute are they? I love the little snowman and polar bear.  If you'd like to order one, you'll need contact Granny's Sewing Box before the end of October.

For more information on their products you can like their Facebook page here:- Granny's Sewing Box

They'll also be at our York Does Vintage fair on 14th October.  We'll be posting more about this event in the weeks to come, but the Facebook page is up if you'd want to add it to your events!

I hope you've enjoyed this first look at one of our fab stallholders.  If you've one of our stallholders and you like us to do a feature on you, get in contact or find me at one of our events.
